World ARC 2025

The first and by far the largest ocean is now behind the MONTANA. Markus and his crew reached the port city of Mackay on the east coast of Australia at 14:00Z on 24 July - a striking milestone after an epic journey through the Pacific.

The route was not only geographically impressive, but also a kaleidoscope of intense encounters with nature and culture. From the biodiverse coasts of the Galapagos to the mystical bays of the Marquesas, the vibrant flair of Tahiti, the glittering lagoon of Bora Bora and the remote paradises of Niue and Tonga - each island was a chapter in itself. Fiji and Vanuatu rounded off the South Seas fairytale and provided unforgettable moments between turquoise waters, coral reefs and hospitable encounters.

Now the glittering South Pacific, with its dreamlike atolls and fragrant hibiscus gardens, lies behind us - a piece of longing that will remain.

But the adventure is far from over: the next stage takes us along the legendary Great Barrier Reef - a route that leads through dazzling reef landscapes, hidden bays and vibrant colours until Darwin finally appears on the horizon. It is as if one highlight follows the next - a journey that knows no pause and whose magic will resonate for a long time to come.
